At a Board of Governors meeting in June, Carl Wieman gave an update into his multi-million dollar investigation into improving teaching at UBC. One thing he remarked on was that there were "Some pretty dismal aspects to student experiences". He said there was a more effective way to use TA time, and there was a lack of fundraising, lack of program review, instructor accountability, and appropriate training for TA's.

Pitch: What are some of the underlying issues plaguing TA's? Do they themselves think there is a problem?

I have never shot in the new rink before, but could imagine that it's dark. Shoot at ISO 800-1600 or higher. Also, keep that aperture wide open!!! (4.0 or lower!)
Again, make sure to get the front of players, and try to focus hard on UBC players. We don't generally publish shots of other team players scoring goals :)

UBC's annual FarmAde event. Apparently the UBC Farm is the new Knoll. Development projects are a brewing and there may be tensions.

Corn, bbqs, bands, booths, beer. Come out to support the UBC Farm! FarmAde is a really relaxed event is fun for all. Shuttles will be escorting people from all around campus to the farm! Attendance reached 800 last year, and it'll be bigger this year. Just hope for sun. Fri, 3pm-7pm
